Pet Grooming

Grooming is available through Becca’s Beaut’e Pawlor at the Scott Lake Vet facility on weekdays by appointment only. Your pet will be pampered during their bath, fluff and dry, nail trim, brush out, and haircut. High-quality shampoo and conditioners will leave their coat looking and feeling great. If needed, Becca can also use medicated shampoos for pets with skin conditions. Their look will be completed with bows or bandannas, and they will be ready to show off how good they feel.

Make sure you call ahead of time. She books up fast! We recommend professional grooming every 6-8 weeks and scheduling your next appointment at pick up!

Non-Grooming Baths and Cat Grooming Available

SLVC staff also offers routine (no grooming) and therapeutic bathing services for canines. Feline grooming is also provided by SLVC. Our cat groomer can complete a Lion Cut or a brush out service under light anesthesia for your cat’s comfort. Two styles of the Lion Cut are the Full Tail or the Lion Tail that has the poof at the end. Please specify which cut you prefer at the time of your appointment. Beware, the hair on the cat’s tail may grow in differently or thinner than before grooming. Each cat is examined for skin, hair coat, eyes, ears, and oral health. Baths are not given during their grooming appointment unless medically necessary.

Vaccinations must be current for all grooming patients. For dogs, this includes rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. For cats, this includes rabies and FVRCP. These immunizations can be brought up to date during your pet’s grooming visit, if necessary.

Becca owns and operates Becca’s Beaut’e Pawlor within the Scott Lake Vet facility.  Becca has always had a connection with animals since a very young age. She grew up with dogs, snakes, lizards, guinea pigs, birds and at the age of 9 started riding horses and fell in love.  She was able to get her first horse a couple years later which led her to go to college where she became a professional horse trainer, massage therapist, and ferrier.  This dedication led her to go on and receive her Comprehensive Riding Master VI Degree from Meredith Manor Equestrian College. Due to limited employment opportunities with horses in her small town Becca returned to school and became a Certified Professional Dog Groomer. Becca states that “Every day I fall in love with being a groomer even more”. and “I love making dogs feel more comfortable and beautiful”.  Becca has now been grooming for over 6 years and is very passionate about what she does. When Becca is not hanging out here at Scott Lake Vet bathing and grooming her furry clients she is hanging out with her 2 dogs, Outlaw and Riley, a cat named Rusty, and a gorgeous and much loved horse named Jewels. Free time is spent with her family doing fun things like camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, horseback riding, and reading.
